tooling (i.e. Individual mandrels, shafts,
sleeves and bearings or the assembled unit).
2. We will thoroughly clean and inspect
each component for defects and/or excessive
wear.
We know that the condition of your
dry offset printing mandrel tooling
directly affects the quality of your
end product.
Most repairs can be made for a
fraction of the cost of new tooling!
3. Based on the inspection data, we will
rework each item in order to bring it back
within required specifications.
4. After machining is complete, we again
inspect all features for dimensional accuracy.
We also have the capability to assemble and
calibrate the mandrel assembly.
5. We supply a Mandrel Evaluation Sheet
and Inspection Report that verifies all tooling
is within required specification. It can serve
as a tool to identify trends in your tooling life
and serve as an excellent document for your
quality records.
